ABOUT

What does it mean to be a Vision Warrior? A Vision Warrior is a man who is in search of his true calling.  A man who is willing to encourage change when needed. A man who is willing to push against resistance when in pursuit of his vision. A man who sacrifices, battles through pain, and lives a life of discipline so that he can be a better Disciple, Father, Husband, Leader and Friend.

Vision Warrior is a faith community that focuses on community, accountability and transparency. Our focus is to create an environment where men can feel and express their deepest passions, fears, and pains without a filter.

HOW IT WORKS

funded

A Vision Warrior house is not just an ordinary home. It is a house where men are cared for, challenged & ultimately, are held accountable. The men are encouraged & supported through meetings, relationships & meals together along their journey of remaining clean & sober. They have responsibilities, house chores and are expected to help daily with household items. We have a house manager who makes sure the house remains clean, taken care of, and also administers random testing throughout the week to ensure everyone is clean and staying on the right path. We have a zero tolerance policy for the use of any drugs or alcohol.

Each of the men enter by their own choice and desire. Typically, the men arrive to the house with some sobriety under their belt. We only accept men that are like minded and looking to better themselves. Our house managers vet everyone that applies, the candidates ability to stay is voted on by the current residences. We are passionate about encouraging the men that come into our house to truly be serious about their sobriety and life in general. Our men are hard working, caring members of the community who, have decided for this season, to live in an environment where they have support and adhere to our 3 core values. Community, Transparency, and Accountability.

Each man is asked to defray monthly living expenses. These expenses include their room and board as well as a couple of family style dinners per week. Our men have jobs working during the day and return home at night just like anyone else. We have developed relationships within the community that help ensure that everyone is working and has an opportunity for advancement. This investment signifies a yearning to remain in the house & accountability to becoming respected members of society.

Our heart and soul for all the men who live in our house is simple. The goal is that they will learn to dream and find a hope in the future. Ultimately, we hope & pray they walk out of our house whenever they decide to leave because they are now a better Husband, Father, Leader, and producing citizen. We believe this ultimate result is what it’s all about. We strive to play a part in putting families back together, helping dreams come true, witnessing hearts become changed, and discovering a hope for their future. That is a win for everyone.
